A Tale of 2 Cities is the first release of Jayl Funk with Timewarp Music.

Its a full funky downbeat groove with smart, catchy details and rhythmic diabolical vocal snips. Dj Stefunk and one of our favorites, Tal M Klein, also make their appearance with their remixes for Jayl Funk.

This EP, the fifteenth virtual vinyl release of Timewarp music, is part of our vision to present collaborations of artists from all around the world, under one flag and style, which could only be: Freestyle!

The leading track, A Tale of 2 cities is a funky, intelligent groovy track. Many playful flirty vocals and uptempo baselines. Broken beats are mixed up with breaks, acid baseline and a mellow catchy tune by the piano.

Dj Stefunk gives a broken disco groove attitude to the track. The baseline is fat and dirty. Many uptempo percussions make you want to shake that booty. Old school!

Tal M Klein, presents a wicked downbeat version of A Tale of 2 cities. Atmospheric dark and sexy vibes, with trippy flakes of melodic roads in the background. Great electro swirl with influences from techno and funk.

Feeling Alright is the second original track of Jayl Funk on this EP. Its a broken beat tune with afro influences and pop a like vocals. 2 Step rhythms combined with funk attitude.
